Teaching in the state’s medical colleges was suspended in March to slow the spread of the infection.
Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi told the media that the students had to prove that they were negative Coronavirus Before attending classes.
He said that prior written consent of the parents of the students would also be mandatory.
Awasthi said that the three-member central team is currently on a vista of Himachal Pradesh to take stock of the situation arising out of the recent spurt in coronovirus cases.
He said there was an initial discussion on Wednesday between the state health officials and the central team. He said that the team is now visiting different districts and another meeting will be held with it when it comes back to Shimla on Saturday.
