New Delhi: It is well known that senior Congress leaders are criticizing the Congress. A few days ago, Kapil Sibal was criticizing his own party. Now another senior leader has commented that his domination be reduced. Party leaders are blaming the Congress for its poor performance in the recent Bihar assembly and by-elections.

Recently, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad made key remarks. He said that the state of Congress had never deteriorated in the last 72 years. He has failed to get full opposition status in the Lok Sabha twice. But, in the Ladakh Hill Council elections, the Congress Party got 9 seats exceptionally. Such positive results were unexpected for themselves.

Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Gandhi was cleaning the family. He said that there has been no change in the previous demands. At the national level, he said, if the Congress wants an alternative power, it will have to conduct an institutional election immediately.

Further, he said that the structure of the Congress Party has completely collapsed and the party needs to be rebuilt. That’s when they want to choose the right leader. Then the party says that he will be fine. Azad remarked that it was not enough to change the leader and that what he thought was possible only when the system was changed.

Azad suggested that a person should not be worshiped in any party. He said that there were no rebels in his party and there was rebellion. There is a need for improvement at the leadership level.

He said that it is true that the Congress party was worried about a series of defeats. He said that the party leadership was fine and he was not blaming the leadership.

Azad made it clear that the party leaders are accustomed to luxurious life. He said that if there was no 5 star culture in the party then the party would have stood. Ghulam Nabi Azad made it clear that the Congress party will survive only if it instills confidence in the party workers and people.
