Results of SLPRB Assam Police have been released on the official website – https://slprbassam.in/.
The written examination for the Sub-Inspector (UB) recruited in Assam Police was conducted on November 22, 2020. The duration of the written examination was 2 (two) hours and the test was conducted from 12 noon to 2 pm.
Admit cards of ‘qualified candidates’ were uploaded on SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in and candidates were allowed to download from November 16, 2020 to November 22, 2020.

The cut-off marks are based on the decision of SLPRB
Successful candidates are called for practical test in order of merit at the rate of 5 (five) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each cadre and category-wise for both men and women. If a candidate scores the same marks in the written test (Paper-I), which in a particular case is selected as the final candidate for the practical test by the formula 5 times, then the candidates scoring the same score will get the practical test ( CBT) is also called for. And therefore, the number can only exceed 5 times that limit for that particular case and category.
Practical test for the posts of Junior Assistant (Headquarters) and Junior Artist Cum Draftsman will be a computer-based examination, in which knowledge of applied positions and proficiency in computer operation will be tested.
Candidates applying for more than one post will have to appear in all the papers / examinations they applied for.
Testimonials / documents to be presented on appearing in the second stage examination
i) Certificate of minimum educational qualification and mark-sheet for the post concerned.
ii) Diploma Certificate in Computer Application for the required post.
iii) Caste certificate from the competent authority in respect of candidates for OBC / MOBC, SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
iv) PwD certificate issued by the competent authority.
v) Certificate issued by competent authority to ex-servicemen.
vi) Employment Exchange Registration Card / Certificate.
vii) EWS certificate from competent authority.
viii) 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs which were uploaded in the online application.
Final selection: The final merit list will be prepared on the marks scored on the following components of the recruitment process: –
